Coast Range Bloom is an imagined stretch of the Oregon Coast Range, a place K.L. Rockwell composed rather than copied, though anyone who has climbed those wet green hills in early summer will recognize it. An Ethereal Watercolorist, she lays down mist and shadow in translucent veils, then lets the flowers arrive last, small and deliberate, carrying every warm note in the painting.
